4 weeks of immersive Color Theory. Why use a limited palette? What are the New Primaries? How to make Gray, or how to create believable flesh tones? Each week builds upon the previous lesson, until you have a solid color knowledge. This is one of the most important classes I have ever offered for understanding your palette!
Mondays 1/11/21 - 2/1/21 : 9:00 am - 12:00 noon
Such an exciting topic....yet one that is often overlooked. We will look at architectural elements in a new way.....incorporating them seamlessly into our paintings. What are the advantages of adding architectural elements? When, and why, do we use One Point, and Two Point Perspective? For this session, Edward Hopper will be our muse. We will focus on using light and shadow to create not only form, but mood. A great way to begin the New Year.
